Rep. Richard McCormick told Newsmax while he hasn’t received any special briefings on the drones flying over New Jersey, it can’t be trusted that the government doesn’t know anything about them.

“I’m very suspicious,” McCormick told “America Right Now” on Saturday, “that [the White House knows] a little bit more than they’re letting on. I haven’t had any secret briefing on this, but I remember when the Chinese weather balloon was over America for a long time before we actually even knew it was there, and then trying to figure out where it came from, and then trying to figure out how to capture or shoot it down. This administration has been extremely slow in everything they’ve done when it reacts to those sort of threats.”

On Friday, Pentagon spokesman John Kirby spoke with Fox News about the drone sightings over New Jersey.
