Frozen Pizza Company Issues Recalls Over Contamination

A frozen pizza company has issued recalls in multiple states over contamination concerns, reports the Wisconsin State Journal.

Palermo Villa Inc., based out of Milwaukee, on Friday said 1,728 of its Connie’s Thin Crust Cheese Frozen Pizzas may contain a plastic foreign contaminant.

The recall affects pizzas distributed to retail grocery stores in Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin with an expiration date of Nov. 27.
