Billionaire Jeff Bezos congratulated President-elect Donald Trump on winning the presidential election Wednesday morning, less than two weeks after he prevented The Washington Post from running an endorsement for Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
Bezos, who founded Amazon, bought The Post in 2013.
“Big congratulations to our 45th and now 47th President on an extraordinary political comeback and decisive victory,” Bezos wrote on X. “No nation has bigger opportunities. Wishing [Trump] all success in leading and uniting the America we all love.”
